It has a Garden, a swimming pool with dressing rooms and the Ferris wheel has its original engine that extracts the water from the cenote inside the property. At the end of the tour is the room of machines with mosaics and high ceilings, where the shredder plants separaraban the fibers of the leaves of the henequen, called the green Gold in the Porfiriato.

But from the very name "Asenda" was something so typical of Latin American, that still decided to go, although I was not sure if I will have time in Ushmal (they are in one direction from Merida, if anything). To reach the Asendy by its own speed, you need to get to the town of Uman (minibuses go from the market-crossing Calle 65 from 54 and 52) and there to change to another minibus actually already in this Yaxcopoil, they stop right in front of the main entrance-the arch in Moorish style. That is, more or less in the Divine form supported by the Manor house: Interesting, for example, the master's office...
The entrance fee is 100 mxn, but it is totally worth it. Then they offer you a guide for not an specifically cost (just the tip that you want to give them). I'm not sure if there are explanations in English, but you can call and ask for it. Really nice place.
Interesting Hacienda, turned into a museum. One can see some original styled rooms and the old machinery. Entry 100 Pesos is a bit steep though. Good stop on the way to Puuc.
