  • I had good experience with my family at weekend. It was so crowed day. The staff try there best to keep this clean. But I couldn't see big development about the zoo. When I visited my childhood I can ...  more »

  • The place has improved since my last visit. But I do hope many animals were not caged and had more space to run about. They don't have a proper map. There is one in near the front gate. That's it. Unless you take a photograph, it has no use when you go inside. May be they should provide a small map printed on the back of the ticket or something. However, it's a good place to take your kids, let them enjoy and learn something. There is a restaurant on site and play area for kids right beside it. You can also bring your own food. They have benches setup and water taps nearby. Garbage bins were located in many places for convenience.
  • One of the beautiful places I've ever seen.Every mammal, to bird, to fish you see here puts everything to perspective how the nature has gifted us all it's wonders. To witness all life other than ourselves face to face, as seen at the comfort of our homes,is really mind boggling. From Bengali tigers to giraffes 15ft tall. But observing the animals in the zoo also sheds a light on how animals are caged to entertain and the sub par living conditions they have to put up with, far from their original homes makes a melancholic experience. So in the end there may be a conflict of emotions when visiting here, but will leave every one who threads this zoo really enlightened.
