The commercial capital of the country, Colombo has added modern touches to its colonial-era core, creating an exciting and eclectic coastal city.

Kandy

Nestled between mountains in inland Sri Lanka, Kandy proudly bears its World Heritage Site designation while remaining culturally independent and colorfully picturesque.
On the 24th (Sat), make a trip to Kandy view point and then make a trip to Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

You can do a combination of taxi and flight from Colombo to Kandy in 3 hours. Other options are to take a train; or drive. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Arugam Bay.

Batticaloa is a major city in the Eastern Province, Sri Lanka, and its former capital. On the 25th (Sun), kick back and relax at Kallady Beach and then don't miss a visit to Batticaloa Gate.
