Watching over the Arabian Sea, Gateway of India stands as perhaps the city's most recognizable symbol. The imposing gate, which reaches a height of 26 m (85 ft), reminds visitors of the grand architectural legacy the British colonial empire left behind. Note that the basalt gate fuses several different architectural styles, including Roman triumphal features and local Hindu and Muslim aspects. You can wander through the gate to view the domed ceiling and see the inscription above the arch, dedicated to the visit of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. Its a good place to but in mornings, evenings are too crowded. Good place to just sit and relax and spend some time with the ocean.

Still the iconic site for Mumbai. Visited at 4 PM and spent 1 hour easily. You can feed pigeons too. It is very therapeutic. Click some photos, and ride a ferry. Pocket friendly. Be aware of parking spots nearby and use them.

The place is just so beautiful and calm.Cleanliness is maintained. It's just good to there with your family and friends anytime and if you have never been to Mumbai, this is a place where you have to visit and enjoy the beauty of place. It looks beautiful in the night time. These days you will have to pay a fine if you are not wearing a mask at the entry.
