Susantha Spice and Herbal Garden, Hingula

Nice garden, nice tea… but honestly that was so set up for tourists. That wasn’t a spice or herbal garden. It’s a garden yes, trees and plants growing. But everything they show us didn’t ripe from those items. There were sat in little plastic pots next to the tree, such a fake setup, anything just to convince you to buy from them something! Sorry but need fixing! Happy to tip for service, even to pay to be shown around, or entrance fees but not forcing you to buy at the end. Taking about medicine and telling stories, that aside the gardens worth visiting.

I and my wife visited this place on our trip to Sri Lanka. Our guide was an ayurvedic student and he explained all the things to us very well. We even loved the tea they served in the starting. We were even given trial of many of their products. We both some products from here. Overall, it was a good expierence, and much recommended.
