Kandy — 3 nights

Nestled between mountains in inland Sri Lanka, Kandy proudly bears its World Heritage Site designation while remaining culturally independent and colorfully picturesque.
When in Kandy, make a side trip to see Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala, approximately Pinnawala away. Medina, Saudi Arabia to Kandy is an approximately 12-hour flight. You'll lose 2.5 hours traveling from Medina to Kandy due to the time zone difference. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 27th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Anuradhapura.

Anuradhapura — 1 night

Explore the well-preserved ruins of an ancient Sri Lankan civilization and its former capital at Anuradhapura, a World Heritage Site and erstwhile center of Theravada Buddhism set amidst peaceful green parks.
Start off your visit on the 28th (Tue): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi and then don't miss a visit to Mihintale.

You can drive from Kandy to Anuradhapura in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus, taxi, and train; or take a train. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Tue) early enough to drive to Sigiriya.

Sigiriya — 3 nights

The historic rock of the same name dominates the landscape of World Heritage-listed Sigiriya, where the steep and striking lava plug contains the ruins of an ancient empire.
Get out of town with these interesting Sigiriya side-trips: Dambulla (Safaris & Golden Temple of Dambulla). Spend the 30th (Thu) exploring nature at Minneriya National Park. There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Sigiriya Fortress, relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, explore the galleries of Pethikada, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Dhilip De Alwis.

Traveling by car from Anuradhapura to Sigiriya takes 1.5 hours. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Fri) early enough to go by car to Arugam Bay.
