The Lamar Valley is one of the rich wildlife viewing areas of the park - in the summer. We visited in the fall and only saw bison, although many of them and even in large groups plus tracks...

Amazing view. Saw pack of wolves after baby bison but adult bison kept them away. My family thought the way to and Lamar Valley was the best part of Yellowstone

We were able to sit and watch for awhile. There were so many babies it was a lot of fun. We were told that during the evening wolves and bears can be seen.
